Shining bright on the sky so far
it is the very first evening-star
though around there is darkest night
it proudly grants us the guarding light.
It looks down on earth, on all creature
with a glance as encouraging gesture
sending with its tender silvery shine
good wishes for the worldly life of mine.
Once Christmas time is drawing near -
golden lined with hopes for New Year,
on heaven it prepares the brightest beam
to send me the happiest Christmas dream.
Dare I rise, step by step, the tree of life
and find the dreams it did provide?
My star keeps sparkling for my safe journey
I'm treading softly, now lose my worry...
